Digital Arts 3
I learned many new things in Digital arts 3 this semester. The things i learned were how to create a portrait by building the page up a lot of random things and taking away from it to create different characteristics of peoples faces. I always learned how to create vectors of images and make them look really cool. This helped me with the bully poster because i hand drew the super hero and scanned it to my computer. I then made it a Vector and changed the colors to make it an amazing super hero. I also learned a lot more about color from reading ms.ROBINSUN's big book about color and that helped me decide what colors i wanted to go on my super hero. Something that wasn't a big topic in the class but i thought is very useful is to save different versions of your art just incase you don't like how something turns out. Before this class the only time that i ever used corel painter was in DA1 to make a spacescape but we now downloaded his creativity workspace and it gave a whole new look at the program because i liked the new tools and made it a lot more fun. I also learned how make a picture better by choosing the correct type face. When we watched the movie about font it really made want to go back to my old work and change the font to make it look better. Overall i learned a lot and really enjoyed my time in digital arts 3 :)

In my bully poster i wanted to give the message that people should not just stay quiet when someone is being bullied but stand up for themselves or help someone who is being bullied. Most people don't want to help or they cant for many different reasons but AntiBully man is a symbol for all the different things you can do to help stop bullying. He stands up for the weak and fights back against bullying. During this project i learned how to take a image and turn it into a vector in illustrator. I first drew my hero on a piece of paper and scanned him into photoshop. I messed around with a lot of different color combinations until i got my perfect superhero. I got my font from fontspace.com and looked through hundreds and hundreds of fonts until i found the right one that i thought would give out the right message because font is very important. I really liked this project because it let me have a part in helping to stop bullying and i learned a lot of different things on illustrator that I didn't know before.
